From Press Release
CHRIS CRADDOCK RETURNS TO THE TORONTO FRINGE WITH HIS SMASH HIT SOLO SHOW “MOVING ALONG”!
CHRIS CRADDOCK, author of such hits as “BoyGroove” and “BASH’d! a gay rap opera” returns to the Edmonton Fringe with a solo creation unlike any other. It’s Moving Along.
Moving Along is performed by its author. It’s a semi-autobiographical work delivered by Craddock, as he runs the lighting design himself, with his theatrical invention: The Electro-chair! The chair features household dimmers sunk into the arms, which allow Craddock to run the lights himself, perfectly timed to his mile a minute story-telling, hilarious and touching in turns.
Moving Along was filmed by Creative Atlantic in Halifax for the Singular Series aired on Bravo!
Critics had this to say:
“The writing is as electric as the chair, and the performance will make you gasp!”
- Liz Nichols, Edmonton Journal
“Craddock is nothing less than brilliant”
- Martin Morrow, Calgary Herald
“This show is brilliant!… See it! See it! See it!”
- Kurt Spenrath, SEE Magazine
“Craddock is absolutely Brilliant”
-Anna Lazowski, Winnipeg Free Press
