this is not pornThis Is Not Porn by Face to Face is a short, comedic performance depicting a chance encounter between two young women – Simone (played by Matisse ApSimon-Negens) and Ally (Madeleine Anderson). This Shed show, playing at Toronto Fringe 2015, begins as a drunk Simone emerges from a party to throw up and winds up meeting Ally who is determined to make a strong feminist statement by putting up a ‘boob poster’ (as it’s called on the play’s Facebook page) on the street. True to the blurb on the Toronto Fringe 2015 website, Hansel & Gretel by Cow Over Moon Children’s Theatre is a completely modern twist on a classic fairy tale. In this version of the tale, Hansel and Gretel (as well as their parents) spend too much time with their gadgets and too little time with each other.
