Coming to Toronto Fringe 2009: FISH FACE

From Press Release

Gin-Cat Productions presents the world premiere of FISH FACE

written and performed by Ginette Mohr

at the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival, July 1-12

Do you believe in fate? The Coral Palace suffers in darkness under the tyranny of an insatiable sea monster. Far above, a young woman slips beneath the waves and into her destiny.

Gin-Cat Productions seeks to fully explore characterization and story in an imaginative appreciation of precision, simplicity and truth. ‘Fish Face’ is an exciting opportunity for playwright/performer Ginette Mohr and director/co-creator Kate Fenton to play in the realm of fantasy and explore theatrical possibilities of forgiveness, healing and transformation. The play contains six distinct characters (a great challenge for one actor), and incorporates dance and an original music score.

“Statuesque with a highly expressive and mobile face, Ginette Mohr has great comic timing.” – the Cronicle Herald
