featuring hilarious songs, a live band, and hot lesbian action… in an
air-conditioned venue with a cash bar.

For every mother who has ever come out to their son as a lesbian… and a
Jew.  For every girlfriend who has met their future lesbian in-laws… at
Hooters. And for anyone who’s ever been in love.

Written by award-winning songwriter David Hein and Irene Carl (a husband
and wife team, who get remarried on stage every night of the show),
designed by Lindsay Anne Black, and directed by Andrew Lamb who brought
you the Fringe hit Desperate Housepets, My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish-Wiccan
Wedding will make you laugh, cry, and cheer.

Featuring Stratford and Shaw alumnae, Lisa Horner, as David’s mother, and
Dora-nominated Rosemary Doyle as her Wiccan partner, My Mother’s Lesbian
Jewish-Wiccan Wedding follows Claire Goldstein, as she finds a new life
and a new wife, while discovering her sexuality, rediscovering her Jewish
faith, and coming out to her teenage son, ex-husband, and homophobic
Jewish mother.

With live music from a full band (including the drummer from the original
Evil Dead: The Musical), My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish-Wiccan Wedding
features original songs that run the gamut from heartfelt (“If You Love
Me”) to political (“A Short History of Gay Marriage in Canada”) to
hilarious (“Don’t Take Your Lesbian Moms to Hooters”).

Performed in the air-conditioned Bread & Circus theatre in Kensington
Market (the newest Fringe BYOV hub with four productions!) My Mother’s
