“Curriculum Vitae, knocks your socks off… Dickens would love this guy.”

-Orlando Sentinel.

“Jimmy Hogg’s hyperactive recounting of his work history and life experiences easily meets the must-see Fringe standard of a half-dozen laughs out loud. This U.K.-bred performer’s chummy stage presence makes for a fun and friendly hour of theater… It’s crazed, creative and super-cute.”  -Carolyn Petrie, Pioneer Press (Minnesota).

“The show starts with Hogg slowly stumbling across the stage with horrendous bed-head and soon catapults into an explosive monologue about life before, during and after various bouts of temporary employment. Managing to fit so many entertaining characters, hilarious anecdotes, and witty pop-culture references into 60 minutes is a difficult test of endurance, a test Hogg passes with flying colours. ***** (5 out of 5) -Eye Magazine, Toronto.

“His characterizations are spot on, and while the piece jumps from story to story—centering on a traumatic night out that ends with the threat of prison looming over the young narrator’s head—Hogg juggles them like a trained master with three chainsaws and a flaming baton in the air.”–City Pages, Minnesota.

“Hold onto the arms of your seat: Hogg will take you spinning.” -Orlando Sentinel

“Hogg is sharp as a whip and effortlessly charming…” -Uptown Magazine, Winnipeg

“Throughout, Hogg skillfully offers up numerous asides and improvised moments, directly addressing the crowd and drawing laughs. Hogg’s charged performance firmly shows off his rich talents as a storyteller and performer.” -Winnipeg Sun

“Part Rik Mayall, Eric Idle and Eddie Izzard, bellowing British comedy-actor Jimmy Hogg whips around the stage like an excitable Labrador puppy… Hysterically tangential.” -Now Toronto

“Fringe comedy gold.” -Eye Magazine, Toronto
