FAIRY TALE ENDING is a topsy-turvy yet touching tale of a young girl coming to grips with loss and the reality of growing up. Join Jill as a “line up” of characters is questioned about the sudden changes occurring in the fairy tales she used to read with her Grandma. With catchy songs like “I, like, totally don’t even give a care”, “You don’t know Jack” and “Waiting”, Fairy Tale Ending will have you in stitches, moved to tears, and humming the tunes as you leave the theatre.

ABOUT THE WRITERS: Kieren MacMillan and Jeremy Hutton are writing some of the funniest and most compelling musicals to come out of Toronto since The Drowsy Chaperone. Together, they have written three original musicals, first produced by the Toronto Youth Theatre: A Musical Called Robin Hood (2007), a hilarious romp through Sherwood Forest; Fairy Tale Ending (2008), which mixes well-known fairy tales together in a humorous and touching tale; and ToboR the RoboT (2009), the comical coming of age story about a robot who just wants to be a real boy.
