Amy Zuch’s Key to Key

An animator is pulled out of fantasy and dropped into the real world when life turns out to be very different from a Disney movie.  With live drawing demonstrations, animation, improvisation, scenes, and songs, comedian Amy Zuch presents the true story of her transition from introversion to live action.

60 excess pounds, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and an animated cast of imaginary friends are all dropped as Amy steps into uncharted territory and challenges both herself and the audience. Having turned family tragedy and a series of wake up calls into positive changes – this is the story she’s been waiting to tell.

A regular at the Bad Dog Theatre, Amy has performed improv, sketch and stand-up comedy all over Toronto. Her neurotic humour shines through- How can a person be a Christian, and a feminist, and get a $7000 nose job all at the same time? Amy is the person and “Key to Key” is the answer. Workshop audiences agree the show is as unique as it is inspiring.
