From press release

Suicide(s) in Vegas

NEW Frankie Award nominated dark comedy by Evan Placey,

RBC National Playwriting Competition winner!

A random internet search connects two women who want to end it all, but not alone. Lydia’s an over-commercialized self-help guru. Jane’s a lonely tollbooth collector. But surviving (and dying) are tricky in this dark comedy about the fantastic awfulness that is – Vegas. By Evan Placey, winner of the Tarragon Theatre RBC National Playwriting Competition.

MW Productions, a Denver-based production company, will tour the World Premiere play Suicide(s) in Vegas throughout Canada this summer, from Montreal to Vancouver. MW has previously produced shows in Colorado, Seoul, South Korea, and at the Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland. See the play the Centaur Theatre of Montreal nominated as ‘BEST English Production’ at the Frankie Awards for the Montreal Fringe!

Lydia (performed by South African Elinza Pretorius) and Jane (American Amber Green) work beautifully together and apart, playing their own roles to a tee as well as various minor characters.” ~ The Charlebois Post, Montreal
