From Press Release

NOBODY’S BUSINESS THEATRE RETURNS TO THE TORONTO FRINGE

WITH THE OTHER THREE SISTERS!

A new comedy from the team behind the Fringe and SummerWorks hits A Maude-Lynne Evening and Redheaded Stepchild!

The Other Three Sisters is the story of four siblings from Etobicoke who are reunited on the birthday of their youngest sister, Kris, which also happens to be the third anniversary of the death of their father.  But when their mother suddenly vanishes, the siblings are left to clean up their family’s mess: literally and figuratively. Along the way they try to escape their dull suburban lives by any means necessary–whether it’s by getting a job, becoming a performance artist, or booking reality TV gigs.

Written and directed by Johnnie Walker (Redheaded StepchildA Maude-Lynne Evening), with performances by Morgan Norwich (A Maude-Lynne EveningTough!-Factory Theatre), Alexandra Parravano (Dennis Cleveland-Luminato, 8 Girls Without Boyfriends), Jamie Arfin (8 Girls Without BoyfriendsHigh Fidelity-Hart House) and Julian De Zotti (A Fool’s Life-Theatre Centre, Crush-Factory Theatre) and design by four-time Dora-nominee Lindsay Anne Black (Sia-Cahoots, My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding).

The Other Three Sisters is a Chekovian melodrama set in modern day Toronto, but with way more plastic surgery, cupcakes, and paranormal activity than turn-of-the-century Russia.
