This Sunday was International Women’s Day and to celebrate that, this week’s selections for theatre on a budget celebrate women overcoming adversity, coming of age, becoming stronger, forging ahead and generally kicking ass and taking names. Phillips combines excerpts from Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues with excerpts from her play, The F Word, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
