The festival has officially begun, which means the reviews have started streaming in! We’re about 45 shows into a 160 show festival, and we already have a few raves that we can’t wait to tell you about! From comedy to drama, there’s something for everyone this year. Check out our first three “Daily Raves” below!

What it’s about: “Following SELL OUT runs at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016/2017 and a WEST END transfer, multi award-winning comedy trio THE PRETEND MEN present their globally acclaimed comedy blockbuster POLICE COPS IN SPACE; an adrenaline-fuelled, action packed hour of ‘Low-Fi Sci-Fi’ set in the most dangerous place on Earth… Space.”

Why our reviewer loved it: “This is zany, relentless, exhilarating fun from minute one, the sort of theatrical equivalent to a car chase on top of a train chase on top of a helicopter chase (somehow). I laughed until my sides hurt, until my entire face was aching from it.”

What it’s about: “What happens when a lifelong fan finds himself semi-close to broadway legends? #KanderAndEbb is where showtunes, celebrity gossip, & kinky sex meet!”

Why our reviewer loved it: “This was a perfect show, great music performed fabulously by Hinds and a terrific band.”

What it’s about: “The impassioned young playwright Kostya is in love with humanity – so in love it’s killing her. In this follow-up to last year’s “The Miserable Worm”, LET ME IN has updated and gender-bent Chekhov’s classic “The Seagull”.”

Why our reviewer loved it: “The Bird Killer‘s cast and crew delivered on all accounts with such a truthful, jagged story about how love, unfortunately, often works. With every artistic choice building on the next, this show comes highly recommended to anyone willing to laugh, to escape, and to most importantly learn about Seagulls. ”
