SHE THE PEOPLE. Second City. She The People is a sketch show created by women that gleefully roasts the patriarchy, taking on everything from having it all to having that sick feeling your government is trying to send you back to the Middle Ages. PORTIA’S JULIUS CAESAR. Withrow Park (725 Logan, Toronto, ON M4K 3B9). Shakespeare in the Ruff presents a radical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s beloved classic. Reframed to explore the agency of women in Ancient Rome, creator Kaitlyn Riordan introduces new voices using iambic pentameter to follow themes of female friendship, fertility and the silencing of women. CANADIAN STAGE SHAKESPEARE IN HIGH PARK: ROMEO AND JULIET. High Park. Canadian Stage and the York University Dept of Theatre present the outdoor theatre in the park, now in its 36th season. CIRCLE GAME: A CABARET. Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Created by Maya Jenkins. What’s the difference between a story and a memory?
