Days have been crazy, and I’m not sure where time is going. In fear of time slipping away completely, I’m going to do a ‘quickie’ review of the Nightwood Theatre and Obsidian Theatre Company production of Yellowman, playing in the upstairs studio theatre at Berkeley Theatre these days. The really quickie version would be ‘I loved it. The end.’ but I’ll give you a bit more than that.

We reviewed Beneath the Banyan Tree earlier, here’s a bit of updated information.
Updated press release information
Theatre Direct has added two performances of Beneath the Banyan Tree for the public on Friday, November 13th at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
This is a professional activity for the TDSB and TCDSB. This will be a perfect outing for the many children who will be out of school that day.
All tickets specially priced at $5.00 for these two shows only. All other weekend matinees are $10 per person.
Also, please be advised that the Beneath the Banyan Tree is running to November 20 and not the 29th as previously indicated.
Although not strictly theatre, I think this is a kinda cool thing. I also suspect it could be very useful in a theatre way if you were doing puppet shows and stuff. And, well, honestly, I’m always interested in stuff that gives you a peek behind how things work. If you are too, you might want to check this workshop out.
