False Claims is a rare farce that flirts with psychological depth
Eli Pasic’s False Claims—currently running at the Alumnae Theatre— is a farce about love, loyalty, and an insurance scam that threatens to tear apart an already broken family. As farces go, he takes things in a less-travelled direction, contrasting the humor, absurdity, and zany antics you’d expect from the genre with deeply troubled characters who are in many ways not exaggerations at all.

Dauntless City Theatre presents All’s Well That Ends Well as a walk through Berczy Park
Dauntless City Theatre presented a dreamy, outdoor staging of William Shakespeare’s All’s Well That Ends Well in Berczy Park, in Toronto’s fittingly historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood. Dauntless City’s adaptation was a treat for the eyes, heart and feet, and offered a beautifully queer re-imagining of the Bard’s famous play.
Mirvish presents The Office! A Musical Parody that is packed with the same raunchy humor
The gang at Dunder Mifllin are live and with song in The Office! A Musical Parody presented by Mirvish. On stage until August 25, this tribute is made for people who love — and I mean really love — The Office. So hold on to your staplers as this two-hour spectacle is rammed full (haha that’s what she said!) with laughs, songs, some pretty obscure references, and…paper.
