May 27, 2010, Toronto, Ontario…Brian Goldenberg, Artistic Producer of Angelwalk Theatre (Altar Boyz, The Last Five Years), brings an exciting new musical to the Toronto Fringe Festival this summer. Seven of Us will receive its Toronto premiere at the Bathurst Street Theatre starting on July 1, 2010 and running until July 10, 2010.
Ever fall in love on the subway? Encounter an apocalyptic preacher? Celebrate with an entire city? Toronto choreographer Linette Doherty uses her life experiences (yes, she really did fall asleep and meet a boy on the subway!), as well as her versatile dance background to convey the fear of a woman travelling alone at night in Toronto; the elation on the subway in Washington as Barack Obama was inaugurated; and the strange and wonderful characters we ride with in any city.
Kinetic Elements is please to announce that their very first full length production will be a part of the 2010 Toronto Fringe Festival. Artistic director Kendra Hughes has exploded onto the scene with fresh faces and innovative choreography. Attached is the press release.
