The Last Rock n Roll Show
From the press release: Electricity runs through his guitar. A crash erupts from the drums. A voice roars across the crowd dying to hear their song be played. All of this and more comes to life during The Last Rock n’ Roll Show, created by Jeff Jones, running from July 6th to July 17th, 2011.
Facing a self-imposed ending to a career in music journalism, Alanna must write one final review. Instead of enduring the torture of another in an increasingly long line of bland musical encounters, she decides instead to recall the moment she began a love affair with Rock ‘n Roll. And this memory explodes to life onstage all around her.

Bordeaux
From press release: In late nineteenth century France, Pascal escapes war and revolution in Paris to settle in the small wine growing town of Bordeaux. In an attempt to begin life anew, he befriends an eccentric young woman named Genevieve, and her elder sister, Odette. The arrival of his ex-lover, Henri, with news from Paris, breaks the spell of his quiet existence and Pascal is forced to reconcile the pieces of his new life: the elder sister he has fallen in love with, the younger sister he has inspired and the young man who hurt him. He is forced to choose between the life of simplicity he has created in Bordeaux, and the life of grandeur that be abandoned in Paris.
Pathos Theatre Company, headed by two young queer artists, Alex Kentris and Ruby Bantock, seeks to give an alternative outlet for queer theatre and to emerging artists in the Toronto theatre scene. With this production of Bordeaux, they are attempting to reexamine history through a feminist and queer lens, utilizing the historical to comment on our contemporary culture.
The piece plays at Factory Studio Theatre, 125 Bathurst St. Performances: July 7th @ 10:30 pm, July 8th @ 3:15 pm, July 11th @ 8:45 pm, July 12th @ 2:45 pm, July 13th @ 5:45 pm, July 15th @ 7:15 pm, July 17th @ 4:30 pm
P-Dale
From the press release: P-Dale is a brave comedy set in Parkdale Toronto about four down and out losers that plan a heist that will, hopefully, change all of their lives for the better.
Snoop (the leader), Twizzle (the gangsta rapper from Richmond Hill), Walker (the homeless guy) and Svelte (the overconfident ladies man) team up and plan to rob a convenience store operated by the nicest guy in the world, Mr Leung, but everything goes horribly awry. A hilarious commentary on modern day Toronto in the village of Parkdale where people with personal problems are actually smarter than we realize.
