Leslieville panto tradition provides a fun-filled show for Toronto audiences of all ages
I took my three-year old to watch A LADD ‘n HIS CAT, the 6th annual pantomime show and annual Leslieville festive tradition. The Panto Players show at Red Sandcastle Theatre did not disappoint.
My youngin’ sat through the 90-minute show intrigued by the pirates, genies, the many set changes, and the creative pop music-inspired song and dance numbers. And yes… I was dancing along in my seat throughout the show too!

What The Elf is an engaged, kid-friendly comedy for the holiday season in Toronto
The winter holidays are almost here, and if you’re looking for something to do with your young kids, you will probably enjoy What the Elf, being put on by The Second City in their Mainstage theatre (51 Mercer St).
As someone with a love for comedy who has always wanted to try performing in children’s theatre, What the Elf seemed like the perfect show for me to check out. I brought my 12 year old sister to this production (aimed at ages 4-12), figuring it’d be fine that she’s at the top of the age range, but was surprised to see that she was definitely the oldest kid there.
Murder By The Books is a deliciously entertaining interactive Toronto experience
Murder By The Books, the latest offering from Mysteriously Yours Dinner Theatre, was one of the funnest shows I’ve seen in a while. It’s a classic whodunit murder mystery experience built around a cast of famous literary characters. Almost.
Feeling nostalgic lately and missing my Dad (who took me to my first and only dinner theatre for my 10th birthday), I decided to relive the experience as an adult. I am so glad I did.
