Me With You (Loose Leaf Theatre) 2015 Toronto Fringe Review

If you’ve never experienced devised theatre, Loose Leaf’s premiere production of Me With You at the 2015 Toronto Fringe is a powerful example. Oliver Georgiou and Myrthin Stagg claim the Factory Studio stage in order to perform a physically dynamic tale of two siblings and a history of mental illness. All proceeds from the performance will be donated to CAMH. If you’re a theatre fan, pool (no water) is RENT on downers. In this Toronto Fringe show, an artist hits the big time and abandons the bohemian city for splendid isolation in the tropics. A decade later, she invites four former collaborators to join her for a spell and relive the good old days: wine, art, drugs, skinny-dipping… but something goes very, very wrong — and now her “friends” have their chance at a peculiar sort of revenge.
