I’m a huge fan of apocalyptic and dystopian fiction. So when I heard about Here After, playing at the Toronto Fringe Festival, I thought the show would be right up my alley. I couldn’t have been more right.
The show, presented by Upstart Theatre, imagines a world in which human bodies can never die. Minds, on the other hand stop thinking for more than a few seconds, and they go completely blank.

Surplus-Value Theatre presents Vectors of Their Interest at this year’s Toronto Fringe Festival, a bizarre and twisted dark comedy about the struggles of the unpaid intern. It’s a struggle many of us fresh-paint recent graduates endure — the bright-eyed, bushy-tailed ‘I’ll do anything to make an impression’ attitude regardless of how utterly off-the-wall the boss’ request may be. And in this story, it’s weirder than most.

Is it weird that I’m considering having kids purely so I can see more Toronto FringeKids! shows like Rapunzel: the Extension Edition by 3 Little Bears Productions? I need a mini-human so I can have a steady date.
Busyness is a Toronto FringeKids! production playing at the Palmerston Library. Created by the little red theatre, this semi-wordless show is an amusing musical performed by three young, earnest actors.
