Come Tumbling Down: Toronto 2010 Fringe Preview

From Press Release

“Jack and Jill went up the hill…”

Theatre in the Red

Written by Blain Watters

The world of COME TUMBLING DOWN is a strange world of spy vs. spy where things are not quite as they seem.

Jack and Jill go out on a blind date, which goes awkwardly, even disastrously, well! They have a nice dinner, some uncomfortable “first date” conversation, an even more awkward first kiss…and then a dark stranger pulls a knife on Jack. Who is this dark stranger? How does Jill know her? Are Jill’s feelings for Jack real? As Jack gets closer to Jill, he finds himself tumbling into a much more complex world than first meets the eye and he has to either step up and fulfill his purpose or suffer the consequences of inaction.

Theatre in the Red proudly presents a remount of their successful first production, Blain Watters’ COME TUMBLING DOWN, a new Canadian work featuring Blain Watters himself as John, Nawa Nicole Simon as Jill and Tina Sterling as Jane, the destructive stranger.
