UNDER ANALYZE ME: Toronto 2010 Fringe Preview

From Press Release

“Hello? Are you there?  I can’t hear you…”

The Go Two Company
Choreographed and performed by Aria Evans and Candice Irwin

is a world premier of four new dance works centering around the theme of technology and the messed up role it plays in the way we communicate.  The dancers explore the absurd lengths that one sometimes goes to so as to avoid human contact and the confusions such types of interaction can lead to.

With choreography which dehumanizes pedestrian movement and props such as bedazzled cellphones, UNDER ANALYZE ME, is all about seeing the insanity in what we have come to accept as ‘normal.’ These intimate duets and solos fight through the barriers we have placed between each other and get back to what makes people tick: physical connection.

Current York University Students and The Go Two Company founders, Aria Evans and Candice Irwin, present these choreographic works as a first look at what these two young artists have to offer Toronto.
