June 2013….New York, NY……The Toronto International Fringe Festival presents Fear Factor: Canine Edition, on July 5th. The show awarded Outstanding Drama in Ottawa and chosen Best of the Fringe in Vancouver and Edmonton, makes its Toronto debut this summer.
Fear Factor: Canine Edition is the true story of a man and his dog, and their misadventures in New York City and Chicago. It’s a culmination of funny and irreversibly moving stories about John and his Bernese Mountain Dog, Abby, as he faces his biggest fears…love, loss,…and doga.
John Grady is an actor and a writer from New York City. He starred off Broadway in Spalding Gray: Stories Left To Tell and as a member of the original production of Blue Man Group. John performs on The Moth Mainstage across the country. His stories have aired on CBC Radio, NPR, and KCRW. The LA Weekly listed Fear Factor: Canine Edition as one of the top theatrical experiences of 2011.
