Coming to Toronto Fringe 2009: DIRTY GIRLS

From Press Release

DIRTY GIRLS

Presented by KNOCKABOUT THEATRE CO.

July 2nd to 11th, 2009 @ Toronto International Fringe Festival

Does hand sanitizing tickle your fancy? Do you live in an antibacterial bubble?

When was the last time you washed your hands?

In a far away land, a super sanitary king needs to get lucky — and

fast. With the help of a slick matchmaker, the king must confront his

worst nightmare: the two dirtiest girls in town.

Based on Edna St. Vincent Millayʼs Two Slatterns and a King, this

filthy romp dishes the dirt on sex and marriage with a contemporary

flair.

This summer, Knockabout Theatre Co will take you on a mudslinging

adventure where Cinderella meets Girls Gone Wild, and nobody

gets away clean. This fast-paced comedy mocks our oppressive

notions of cleanliness and revels in the dangerous delight of getting

dirty.

Come Clean. Get Dirty.
