Twelve adults, two infants, five kids, and I saw Thumped!, a last minute addition to FringeKids! at the George Ignatieff Theatre, on Wednesday at 10:00 am. It’s tough to get an audience out that early in the morning and it really reinforced the need for publicity. Send out lots of press releases and work the Toronto Fringe Festival lineups. Fringe for Free! Toronto Fringe ticket giveaways for shows playing on Friday, July 10
As we pass through the second half of the Toronto Fringe Festival, we’re seeing more sold-out shows as showtimes dwindle and options decrease. We’ve reviewed every show in this year’s festival to help you decide what to see in the time you’ve got left, but we’ve also got you covered for five more shows–our last five of this year’s Fringe!
Either way, it couldn’t be easier to enter! Until July 10th, we’ll be giving out tickets to 5 shows. You can enter each of the five contests by sending us an email (more details below).
Remember, you need to enter each contest individually. If we pick your name, you’ve got two tickets heading your way, so watch out for that confirmation e-mail!
Here are the 5 shows playing on Friday, July 10th, after the jump.

FringeKids! Club at the 2015 Toronto Fringe Festival
Attention Toronto Moms and Dads, there is good, clean, hands-on fun to be had at the FringeKids! Club on the lawn of the George Ignatieff Theatre which is part of the University of Toronto campus. We got lucky this year! With these outdoor activities conveniently located just steps from the theatre entrance, the kids can grab a show and get in some puppet-making before heading home. Overall, the FringeKids! Club is a great place to get fresh air and exercise for young bodies and minds, and make new friends. And it’s all done without touchscreens!
