In Jizz Sock (at the Toronto Fringe Festival), a masturbation expert learns that he has a brain tumor. When he wanks, his endorphins go crazy, leading to compulsive masturbation, endless toe-curling pleasure, and a ticking time bomb in his noggin. This news forces him to reconsider his life’s work, his relationships with family and friends, and the merits and shortcomings of his favourite single-player game.

These are the questions brilliantly posed and thoroughly explored by Three Five Production’s Perceptions of Love in the Pursuit of Happiness, playing now as part of the Toronto Fringe Festival.
Serendipity is a big part of the Toronto Fringe for me. I decided to see Washed Up at Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace because I was seeing something else there and it meant I wouldn’t have to travel between venues.
